Greetings lake friends!
My name is Micah Merrill and I am the operating partner at The Resort at Egyptians Hills. I have had the amazing opportunity to interact with a lot of you, our lake friends and neighbors, over the past nine years. I have loved our lake and the people on it from the first moment my family and I began working at The Resort.
This magazine, “Lake of Egypt Living,” has been in discussion for many years and this year, we decided to do it.
This magazine is going to be hand-delivered to every home on and around the lake four times a year, March, May, July and October. It is our hope that Lake of Egypt Living will help continue to build our already strong lake community and be an avenue to share the fun times and memories we are building on our stunning lake.
I often stop to think how fortunate I am to live on this lake, and I imagine not a lot of people can say they live on a lake.
Each issue of “Lake of Egypt Living” will feature one of the beautiful homes on the lake. We will take you inside the spectacular homes we all dream about as we take our evening boat ride. We will have a list of upcoming events that are happening on the lake and within the surrounding area. We will feature contributing authors who live on the lake, work on the lake and have various expertise in lake life.
“Lake of Egypt Living” will also feature your best photos –– those amazing sunsets, crazy wipeouts on tubes or skis, the wildlife on our lake and many other candid lake photos.
We will also feature contractors, services, restaurants and goods you might not be aware of in the area that will help make maintaining your home, yard and all your guests a little easier.
